Per-Olaf Hustad

Per-Olaf has extensive background from the oil and gas industry worldwide, of these many years in General and Project Management positions in Upstream Operating Companies.

 

Per-Olaf has been responsible for brownfield and greenfield developments. This included executing project and building an operating company in parallel. Per-Olaf has experience from cold climate developments, construction of platforms, substructures and floaters as well as subsea production systems.  He was engaged in the development of Floating LNG Production facilities (FLNG).  Since 2012 he worked as an independent consultant until starting up the company Hustad & Granaas AS in 2016. Per-Olaf has work experience from Statoil, Mobil and Shell as well as board experience from Shell, Petoro and manufacturing companies.

Bernt Granås

MANAGING PARTNER, Stavanger

Bernt has extensive background from the oil and gas industry world wide, of these many years in project delivery, leadership and business development.

 

Bernt has been responsible for individual projects and portfolios of projects. This includes a large brown field offshore platform upgrade, Subsea gas export pipeline, Authority liaison and land purchase (Russia), Onshore gas plant green field project 2.6 BUSD (Russia), Deep Water subsea processing technology qualification, Deep water subsea infrastructure and a portfolio of around 10 BUSD of green and brown field projects. Through Hustad & Granaas he has worked with helping clients with green field developments, tie-in agreement negotiations, stage gate reviews, etc.  Bernt has work experience from Shell, Sakhalin Energy and Hustad & Granaas.

Bjørn Atle Jacobsen

SENIOR CONSULTANT, Oslo 

Bjørn Atle has a solid technical background and 10 years experience delivering in key positions in O&G projects covering all phases from front-end to start-up. 

 

Bjørn Atle joined Shell as a rotating equipment engineer, working with debottlenecking of assets, multi-discipline troubleshooting, subsea compression pilot commissioning and as compressor package responsible.

 

For six year he held various roles in the 2 BUSD brownfield Nyhamna Expansion Project including project engineer in design for the booster compressor area and later construction lead for Polarled Inlet Facilities. Key competencies gained included contractor performance management, brownfield efficient execution, turnaround planning and execution, commissioning strategies, fit-for-purpose HSSE strategies in field, and stakeholder management.

 

Previous to joining Hustad & Granaas, he was onshore lead for front-end development of the 1.2 BUSD Ormen Lange Late Life Recovery Project.

 

Bjørn Atle has had assignments in design offices, at yards and at construction sites in Norway and UK.

Rob Marshall​​

SENIOR CONSULTANT, Oslo 

Rob Marshall comes with a strong background in Project delivery with a focus on both brownfield and greenfield subsea developments.

Rob Marshall joined Shell as a Subsea Discipline Engineer initially supporting both large CAPEX projects and smaller integrity focussed efforts to sustain and grow Shell’s mature North Sea asset base. Rob also spent three years working in the United States, where he managed the safe delivery of a Portfolio of Deepwater (GOM and Brazil) Brownfield Projects for Shell – including single well tie-backs, equipment reinstatement, abandonment scopes and the development/deployment of industry-first technologies to boost production. More recently, Rob has delivered an ultra-fast track, high-risk project in the North Sea to decouple and re-route an existing Oil Export route securing the life of one of Shell’s mature fields into the 2030’s.

Rob was appointed as a Project Engineering Technical Authority within Shell and brings experience of delivering projects with a multitude of third-party interfaces, in strictly regulated environments and with complex stakeholder environments.  Rob brings a strong business acumen and hands-on experience working across technical, managerial and commercial job functions.

Bjørn Reinholdtsen

Senior Associate, Subsurface Engineering, Stavanger

Bjørn is a Principal Reservoir Engineer/Project Manager who has 41 years industry experience, of which 34 years is Oil Company experience, (4 years Mobil, 30 years Shell), after which he spent 7 years as a technical leader in consultant company LR Senergy and as an independent consultant.

 

He has extensive experience within reservoir engineering/petroleum engineering across Shell's portfolio of fields in 8 European countries. This includes the position as Regional Resource Volume Manager for Shell EP Europe (8 countries), functional leadership positions and the corporate position as Value Assurance Advisor for Shell’s European projects. This includes reviews of envisaged CO2-flooding/storage projects in the Draugen (Norway) and Barendregt (Netherlands) fields.

 

He also has extensive field development experience from the development of major fields like Statfjord, Troll Gas, Draugen and Brent depressurisation. He has developed new pseudo relative permeability technology and a sophisticated fluid system model for inclusion in Shell’s simulation software. He has taken part in or led some 25 Competent Person’s Report (CPR) and asset evaluation projects while working for LR Senergy.

Solveig Green

Senior Associate, Project Management, UK

Solveig has over 25 years’ experience of the full life cycle across a range of large-scale projects within the oil and gas industry worldwide, mainly in project management and delivery.

 

Solveig joined Shell as a Structural Engineer, supporting a variety of projects in the early 1990s including Brent Redevelopment. She transitioned into project engineering while posted in Brunei, and thereafter was responsible for delivery on a variety of projects including the Caspian Pipeline Consortium Marine Terminal in southern Russia, and the Tanker Loading Unit for Sakhalin Energy Investment Company. Solveig led the Pearl Gas to Liquids Offshore Platforms team (Dubai/Qatar), and subsequently also provided specialist project management consultancy services to Kuwait Oil Company via an Enhanced Technical Services Agreement.

Assignments in the U.K., Brunei, Russia, The Netherlands, Dubai (also for projects in Qatar, Kuwait and Iraq).

Solveig holds a B.Eng. degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College, London and is also a Chartered Engineer/Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

 

 

Lars Inge has long-term experience from business management and commercial positions in the upstream and downstream oil and gas industry.

 

He has more than 15 years experience as CEO managing business clusters as well as subsidiary companies covering multiple countries. He has led change processes and turnarounds with proven track records and significant bottom-line improvements.


Lars Inge managed Shell’s upstream commercial department for non-operated ventures for a long period. He was the company representative in several joint venture management committees and boards. 


Lars Inge has delivered strategic reorganisation of several organisations, latest leading the merger of the commercial organisations of Shell and BG in Norway.

Peter Simmons

Senior Associate, Contracting and Procurement, London

Peter Simmons is a subject matter expert in oil and gas contracting and procurement (CP) activities and development of supply chain strategies along the entire energy value chain. He has led negotiations of final CP contracts and has deep experience in mergers and acquisitions, business development and supplier relationship management.

 

 

His responsibilities included corporate processes, governance, category management, Request for Proposal end-to-end, and team leader for all forms of CP contracts, e.g. Front End Engineering & Design (FEED), Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC), Framework and Service Agreements.  He was team leader for the Prelude EPC contract re-negotiation, LNG Canada turbo machinery supply contract, Oil Rig and Subsea Umbilicals, Risers & Flowlines (SURF) supply agreements and advising many more categories on strategy and contract negotiation.

 

Peter also held the role of General Manager for Supplier Management working with all top suppliers in the oil and gas industry managing a worldwide team.

Doriyush Ubaydi

BUSINESS CONSULTANT, Oslo

Doriyush is a recent graduate with strong analytical business and finance skills developed through international work assignments and studies.

 

Doriyush has completed internships in fields including wealth management, project management, and business development. Responsibilities include assistance with recruitment of c-level executives to attend the conference in Marrakech organized by Former President Clinton while working at Clinton Global Initiative in New York. He also has conducted market research to identify business opportunities for CIEE - a leading educational non-profit organization in the USA.

Prior to joining Hustad & Granaas, Doriyush was in charge of International Relations at International Business Project – a student-led initiative, where they researched major business opportunities for Norwegian companies abroad, including within oil & gas and renewables. 

Doriyush is multilingual and speaks Farsi, Arabic (advanced), Russian, and Norwegian in addition to his native Tajik and English. His international cross-cultural experiences have proven useful for solving business problems within a global context.

Kristine B. Foss

BUSINESS CONSULTANT, Oslo

Kristine has 5 years of operational experience working offshore covering a wide span of drilling and well operations.

 

Kristine started her career at Baker Hughes GE as a field engineer, primarily working with well construction operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). In addition, she has worked on product development including a new service for drilling operations.

Her work offshore has ranged from exploration drilling to mature field production drilling. From working with all phases of well construction, she has acquired a broad knowledge of all rig operations and associated services and companies involved.

 

Kristine has had assignments offshore on the NCS, on rig site in Italy and in Stavanger.

Vasundhra Saraswat

Vasundhra has 4 years of work experience with multinational banks in investment banking, risk analysis and strategic consulting.

 

Vasundhra has worked at Goldman Sachs as an analyst in the investment banking division, specializing in strategic consulting related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Responsibilities included client servicing, analysing potential targets based on their financials, evaluating related risks and executing due diligence. She was also assigned responsibility for streamlining processes within the global market risk team.
